What is the Regional Vulnerability Framework Project?
The Regional Vulnerability Framework Project is a systemic review of the South Jersey Transportation Planning Organization’s (SJTPO) Region to identify weaknesses and vulnerabilities to climate trends in its transportation infrastructure. This effort will lay the groundwork for future vulnerability assessments and provide quantifiable value to support resiliency efforts for transportation infrastructure in the region.
What will be the outcome of the Regional Vulnerability Framework?
This project will identify gaps in existing analysis, create a critical asset inventory, and use existing guidance on climate projections. The result will be an initial risk assessment based on existing data and recommendations for next steps in the region to enhance resilience across the transportation network.
Virtual public meeting on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 5:00 pm to hear the findings from the vulnerability assessment and draft project recommendations. During this meeting, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the project and hear next steps prior to the finalized draft report.
