Looking to Adopt a Specific Breed?
The Atlantic County Animal Shelter has a wide selection of purebred cats and dogs. When looking for a specific breed to adopt, please visit the shelter and meet with one of our adoption counselors to assist with your search.
Adoption Fees
The following fees currently apply to the adoption of animals.
Puppies and Dogs
Fee: $110.00
The adoption fee includes mandatory sterilization, age appropriate vaccinations, diagnostic testing, a microchip and a free veterinary consultation.
Kitten and Cats
Fee: $85.00
Each additional Feline adoption: $42.50
The adoption fee includes mandatory sterilization, age appropriate vaccinations, diagnostic testing, a microchip and a free veterinary consultation.
Additional Fees
The following are also available for an additional fee:
- Home Again Microchip: $30.00
- I.D. Tag: $6.00
