Introduction: This American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support Course is designed for people who want to be prepared for emergencies and want to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of settings, from home to work.
This American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support Course is designed for people who want to be prepared for emergencies and want to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of settings, from home to work.
This course also meets the requirements for health care professionals, such as Nurses, EMTs, and Paramedics.
What does this course teach?
• High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
• The AHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components
• Important early use of an AED
• Effective ventilations using a barrier device
• Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants
Cost is $40.00 payable to Atlantic County cash, check or credit/debit) plus an administration fee of $20.00 that covers the cost of materials and the course completion credentials. The $20.00 fee is payable to the instructor, either cash or check. All monies due day of class.
