Senior Centers/Nutrition Project
The Nutrition Project for the Elderly offers two components: Senior Centers Congregate Programs and Home Delivered Meals.
Senior Centers Congregate Programs
Senior citizens sixty 60 years of age and older are invited to attend one of the 10 centers located throughout the county. The centers offer a variety of activities, which may include crafts, line dancing, computer classes, self defense courses, bingo and more. A lunch time meal is served daily. There is no charge to participate however, a $1.00 donation is requested to enhance the program.
The center in Atlantic City is open on the weekends. Transportation to any of the centers can be arranged by calling the site.
